Low Voice COllective
Low Voice Collective — Website + Secondary Identity Design
Low Voice Collective required a digital presence that could reflect the choir’s inclusive, community-driven mission while clearly and engagingly promoting performances, member information, and organizational updates. As Winnipeg’s queer tenor and bass choir, the collective creates a welcoming space for gay, transitioning, non-binary, and queer-identifying singers to gather through music and shared creative expression.
The website design combines clean structure and intuitive navigation with a visual direction inspired by vintage 1970s aesthetics and yacht rock culture. Warm colour palettes, retro-inspired typography, and relaxed visual rhythms were used to evoke nostalgia, openness, and a sense of community while maintaining a contemporary, accessible user experience.
In addition to the website, a secondary logo was developed to provide a flexible supporting identity for promotional and digital applications. Together, the visual elements establish a cohesive brand presence that reflects the choir’s welcoming energy, artistic personality, and celebration of queer community through music.
