Born and raised on the prairies in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I bring a grounded, creative spirit to every project. With over 20 years of experience as a business owner, I began my career as a hairstylist in the salon and spa industry. My passion for creativity and connection naturally led me to explore new avenues.
In 2022, during the pandemic's quiet reflection, I embraced a new challenge by enrolling in the Continuing Education Department at the University of Calgary to pursue a diploma in Graphic Design. My journey has been enriched by an inspiring internship with Moi & Toi Design under the tutelage of my dear friend and seasoned designer, Catherine Delaquis. This invaluable experience continues to shape my growth and expand my design expertise.
With a long-standing background in client care, transitioning into graphic design was a natural extension of my passion for client-focused services. Today, I freelance under my own brand, AC Studio, offering a diverse range of design services. From crafting memorable brand identities to developing practical design solutions such as fillable forms, organizational graphs, and polished presentation designs — I thrive on delivering creative and functional results tailored to each client’s needs.
