Canadian Animal Blood Bank — Pop-Up Banners, design elements

The Canadian Animal Blood Bank (CABB) required visual materials to support donor recognition and outreach efforts at public events and veterinary trade shows. The goal was to create engaging graphics that celebrate canine blood donors while clearly communicating the organization’s mission and services to veterinary professionals and the public.

Two pop-up banners were developed for different contexts. A shorter banner was designed as a photo backdrop for donor dogs following their blood donation sessions, creating a celebratory moment for participants and their pets. A taller banner was created for use at veterinary conferences and trade shows, presenting key information about CABB’s services and encouraging veterinary clinics to learn more about the program.

Supporting graphic elements were also updated to strengthen the organization’s visual materials. This included a refreshed dog collage featuring large breeds suitable for blood donation and a maple leaf blood-drop graphic incorporating donor dogs from the collage. Together, these elements create recognizable visuals that celebrate donor animals while reinforcing the Canadian identity of the organization.
